Need help with value of 93 Ty 1398

Well I am new here and fairly new to the syty world, but a buddy of mine jsut bought Sy#2300 and it is awesome. Now I am hooked and need a ty. I found one local that is wrecked and I am trying to convince the owner to sell it instead of fixing it. My question is what is a good offer for it? It has <80k miles, straight from front of doors back, good interior and motor. It is going to need right fender, hood, front end, radiator, core support, front end and fender cladding, complete paint job, and all other odds and ends including with replacing front end. The motor still is ok I am 99% sure and it has all other cladding.
I am a mechanic by trade and not afraid of a little work, but just need to know what it is worth. Am I wasting time trying to save money by fixing a wrecked ty instead of buying one complete? I am having my first baby in Feb. so this will allow me to get a Ty and not break the bank before the baby comes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've got some pics of the Ty and of Sy#2300 but I cannot get my camera to upload right now. When I figure it out I will post and maybe that will help appraise it.

P.S. Any guru's in OH that can help two guys new to world of SyTy's

there are a few here that are selling for cheap I would say buy one of those and save yourself the headache of fixing one

Sounds pretty similar to the damage I did to my own Ty right after I bought it. I probably put about $5k into fixing it, not including any charge for my own labor. The restored truck would probably blue book at around $12 or 13k, but with the current market, there's no way it would go for that much. I would suggest offering only $2~3000 for the wreck. Instead of going higher than that, I'd buy Adam's '92 in Vermont for $6k. Here's his thread: http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=30833

Here is a pic of the majority of the damage. Keep in mind all cladding from front of doors back is inside truck.

Looks like an easy fix to me.

If it runs drives I would give 3500 myself providing rest of truck is clean.
