Newly designed CUSTOM 6061 BILLET ALUMINUM ENGINE TORQUE STRAP (TURNBUCKLE) for the SY/TY. This torque strap bolts on in as little as 5 minutes!!! NO DRILLING WHAT SO EVER!!! Installation is as followed: Remove lower top A arm nut accesed easily by turning your driver side wheel outward. Slide lower chain mounting bracket over a arm bolt and retighten nut. Next pull torque strap up toward alternator. Remove rear alternator mounting bolt and reinstall back through torque strap mounting hole. Tighten alternator bolt and adjust torque strap to desired tention!! ALL TORQUE STRAPS WILL BE FULLY ASSEMBLED TO THE PROPPER LENGTH FOR A TROUBLE FREE FAST INSTALLATION!! Looks like a nice piece, just one quick question. Why is the chain there? Couldn't you just use the turn buckle attached to the frame and motor with heim joints at each end?

The chain allows you to adjust tension. This way you can run slightly loose or tight.:D

The body of the turnbuckle isn't long enough for that type of installation.
