Well, got the new combo built and on the engine dyno finally.

Motor is a stock syty block w/steel straps & studs, Eagle rods, Wieseco Pistons, Custom camshaft, Stock Vortecs (1.94 & 1.50 valves) mild port job, stock syty Intake and syty intercooler, CA Custom Bolt On Turbo, and STOCK syty downpipe. The results were as follows:

610HP @ 5000RPM
753Ft.Lbs @ 4000RPM
24psi Boost w/C16 11:1 AFR

This is a standard engine combo that we offer and are currently building for a couple of customers. This one is going in my 92 Ty for some more testing on the chassis dyno.

Dyno video will be up in a couple days on our website. I'll post a link when available.

The key to reliability is the low RPM. The block has cement and the steel straps on the main caps make them nearly as strong as a billet cap for less than 6000rpm type use. This thing is done by 5500rpm and usually saw power peak by 4750. If you spin them fast they will break, but keep the rpm down, and they will live forever.......almost.

A well engineered combo. You don't need to spend big $ to make big HP. The combo is something we have been working on for a while...........and the best tuner in the world...........Nolan.

I realize the combo is extremely important, but the tune is what is going to make the thing run well and make good power. You see it all the time with the guys running big turbos and running 12.9's and guys running stockers running sub 12.5.

So my question is:

Do you get a tune like the one above with the purchase assuming you are bringing your truck in?

The tune can be purcahsed with the combo. This is the whole purpose behind what we are doing as we want to sell a dyno proven and street beaten combo. The engine is going in my personal truck and Nolan and I will have every detail on the tune taken care of.
Weather you send your truck, or we build a motor and send it to you the tune will be right and very safe for years of fun.

I just started to pull my engine today and seeing numbers like that gets me pumped up. Too bad I dont have that kind of money to drop. I have to buy it a piece at a time :(

Amen brother.I've BEAT on a basically stock build with just block filler for 60k miles,but I never go over 4800 rpm.

That's the way it will be in my truck. Pump gas and alky. Because of the cooling affect on the methanol, results are very similar.

..glad to see the KISS rule in full effect up there! Nolan is great at tuning these little wonders..and I'll be talking to him aagain soon...new engine and trans are about done!
