well it's time. The new bullit is going in this weekend. It's a long weekend for us so hopefully i can get the old motor pulled and the new one sitting in the truck by monday. Got lots to do when the engine is out, but luckily it's not my first.

With any luck it will be running next weekend, and can get some street tuning done..............then put it on the chassis dyno and see how much these tank drive trains take away for power.

Never the less.............750 ft.lbs will be fun on the street!!

I have been reading your progress on that motor and the impressive numbers it put down on the engine dynometer, cant wait to see what the awhp will be.:) Might be interested in one of your budget build-ups for my 92' Typhoon.

I'm anxious to see what it'll do in the truck. I followed the other thread about that budjet build too. How's the TT Tahoe project coming along? I say tow the Ty down to the NATS with the TT Tahoe. I'll see you there....I'll be one of the ones DROOLING over both.

Did you ever get the dyno numbers at the wheels on this?

Need to finish the chassis dyno stuff another time but intial number show about a little less than 30% loss to the wheels. The truck is making 440 at the wheels, but ran out of time on the day I was dyno testing. I am a couple degrees of timing short from where we were on the engine dyno so should be able to see 450-460 at the wheels when all done.

Some datamaster runs show 11.9's at 114 mph at 18-19 psi. I have yet to make a run a 25 psi.....................but holy shit..................there is a big difference when it gets into the 24-25 psi range.

Should run mid 11's no problem...................a coulpe weeks and the track will be open to test.
