New Guy
I'm new to the site so I thought I would introduce myself.
I was into Ford Rangers for the last 4 years. I had a 92 standard cab that I put a built V8 into and then put a super charger on. The truck was extremely quick but became too small as the kids got bigger. I am currently a moderator on one of the largest Ranger sites......I'm not sure if I can post a different site here and I guess it really doesn't matter anyway so I won't.
Today I traded the Ranger for a 93 Typhoon. I got it from Scotty230 who posted a couple of questions about it recently. The Typhoon needs some TLC with some body rust and missing side mouldings. The interior needs to get cleaned up and some things fixed/replaced. Mechanically it seems pretty sound aside from something banging with the front suspension and the intercooler pump not working. Oh, the starting problem he was having is something to do with the neutral safety switch....one more thing on the to do list.
Anyway, this is a very interesting vehicle and I look forward to restoring it back to where it should be. I intent to keep it stock and just haul the kids around once in awhile. It will probably see 10 to 20 miles a week if it is lucky.
I'm sure I won't be posting much to begin with. I'll be reading as much as I can to get familiar with it. I will be looking for things like the side mouldings and such later on down the road.
