New Linear patches released

The new linear patches are now available for download at:

http://digware.lunarpages.com/

Click on the WB 02 link to download the patches.
Patcher itself is available via the Bin patcher link.

Let me know if there are any problems with the page or the patches.

The currently supported platforms:

PLX 300/400/500 series linear output

AEM Gauge-type Linear Wide Band (Non-gauge type requires a different patch)

Innovative LM-1 Linear output (requires programming)

Tech Edge 2.x Linear output

Raw Data output


Please note that these patches are for non-commercial purposes only.
They are not to be included as part of a commercial chip offering.

Hey, can somebody with an Innovative write up some instuctions on the re-program, so I can put that on the page?

Almost forgot-


A big thanks to Paul Schwab of the NWSTP gang for all his work in the
initial test of the new patches. They would have never gotten out there
so quick without his testing and info gathering on the various WB boxes.

Also, thanks to Nolan + Crew for the tests on the Innovative, and to Hood
for work with the PLX.

There's much more work to do for the other platforms, but having help
with the testing makes things go lots quicker.

And a big thanks to Bruce Plecan, Bob Raucher, Chad Clendening,
and the rest of the original DIY-WB design group... they really started
the whole WB internet movement with the DIY WB project. We wouldn't
have cheap, easily available Wide Band technology without their work.

What scale is the output? 10:1 = 1.4V/ 20:1 = 2.9V

I have the patch working with 0V = 10.00 AFR and 5V = 20.00 AFR
Thats what I put into the LM-Programmer.

AFR = Volts*2 +10

For INNOVATE LM-1 users:

Open up the 'LM-1 Programmer' software and connect the LM-1 to the computer with the serial cable. Once connected, click on the tab 'Analog Out 2' (It doesn't matter if you choose 1 or 2, but the first one is already set up for narrow band simulation). Now choose 'Use Air-Fuel Ratio' from the lower right portion of the window. This will get the graph to display the curve-fit in AFR rather than lambda.

Once this had been done, the values need to be entered.

0.00 Volts at 10.00 AFR
5.00 Volts at 20.00 AFR

These correspond to the curve of AFR = Volts*2 + 10.

Once the numbers have been entered in, click 'Program' and now the LM-1 is ready to work with Dig's new linear patch. Make sure that the output you programmed is the one going to F14 on the ECM.
