the guy who makes it, is the same one that made the ultimate chip.. if I remember correctly.

I see where it says obd2 but I thought we could just splice into our ECM for the appropriate sensors. NO, DAMN, ok I really just wanted to use it for the knock without having to use the laptop. Is there any other knock display that would work on out trucks? I saw the one about 6 months ago but never received an email back about its specs.

Yep, that's my company. I've thrown around the idea of making a syty version but I doubt I'd sell enough to recover the costs. If it was just a matter of different software it wouldn't be an issue, but I'd have to completely redesign the hardware as well for the UART communication.

Yeah there's the casper's gauge but you have to modify something but I can't remember what. Do a search on here it's been discussed before oh and it looks like this

http://syclone.invisibill.net/knockled/ isn't fancy, but it's cheap and easy, and will give you a basic knock indicator without having to lug around a laptop.

the problem with the stocker is that some "build" engines gave you false knock around 2k RPM
it would be cool if you could calibrate the knocksensor in neutral, rev the the engine a couple off times, and it doesn't show knock..

Servando told me about this a while back, that there was a standalone system that had this intergrated.
