it was for sale, but i don't think he sold, because his sister goes to my church and is a good friend of my family. i hope to meet him one day, sounds like a nice guy.

Hello Everyone, sorry I'm just getting around to responding to the roll call. The crazy part of it is Tom told me about this thread over a week ago and I haven't until now logged onto the forum site to add my input. Truth be know I had trouble logging on since I have changed my username and password at most other forums I log on to and I haven't been on this forum in so long that I forgot what my user name and password was. But I finally figured it out and got on.

I hope 2006 can bring us all together at some common event of interest at least once this season? With that in mind I'll throw in a first SyTy event possibility. I'm planning to do this event and I'm fairly certain Tom is too unless schedules conflict or old man winter gets in the way. Rain or Shine I will be at the following. If any one else is interested you can contact me at mtb9153@comcast.net and we'll try to coordinate a group showing. Hope to see a bunch of our NorCal owners at this event?

What: 8th Annual NorCal All American Truck Show
When: May 6, 2006 7am to 4pm, Rain or Shine
Where: Kennedy Park in Union City, CA.

In 2005 (I believe this is correct?) we had my Syclone, Don Waltenspeil's Syclone, Mike Stanley's Typhoon, Kevin Stephens Typhoon, Sam Caries Syclone. Last minute no show's were Susi of Modesto area's Typhoon and Tom Dowd and the infamous V8Beater Typhoon.

It would be very cool if we could get all the bay area regulars to show for this event and take up a whole row with just SyTy's? This is a very big show and one of the very few in NorCal allowing only trucks. Tom got me started showing my trucks at this event back when it was showcased in San Jose in 1999 at Kelly Park's San Jose Historical Park.

Now it is being held in Union City at the really nice Kennedy Park and all trucks are parked in a large grassy area which is provided for all attendee's.

Hope to see a bunch of you here and at other events this year?

V8EATER here. 93 White Typhoon. Great list. Will for sure use if to get the word out for the Annual Dowd bash in June/July.

I will call the Goodguys tomorrow and get all the info on the March show. I will get costs for the show and directions. I also stay the night on Saturday and I will list some of the places they have to stay so if the group is interested we can make a late night out of it.
