8 hours. Well If I am doing the heads thats got to be a few hours right there for having the manifolds and turbo off. So it would add about 5 hours to my 2 weekend job. Not to bad. Whats the cons of the solid mounts? Where to get them? I think a vender here sells them. I like to support the guys here. But I dont remember who has them.

No con's. A little & I mean a little more noise. I went from the polys to the solids and noticed no difference.
I noticed more noise when I went to the poly body mounts.
It makes it more difficult to get the upper bellhousing bolt in since there is no excess motion in the mounts. But that bolt is already a beotch to get in.

Upper rad hose cut by alt.
Upper rad. shroud exploded from fan contact.

You can also use a crowbar to lift the drivers side and watch the drivers side mount.

Gary, put the truck in drive and try to power brake just a little bit, if the motor lifts up alot time for some mounts. Mine was going up like 3-4 inches
It's funny because alot people say it cuts the radiator hose but I didn't cut mine and it moved a lot, guess lucky me. Besides what 4CFED already mentioned i've heard they will cause a little more vibration because the new solid mount doesnt absorb it, but i'll let you know.
