oil pressure sending unit

could someone tell me where the oil pressure sending unit is on my 92 typhoon, my gauge isn't working anymore

Youre close....its actually below the distributor but if you look back in that general area you should find it none the less.

I don't know why, but mine has been moved to where the oil filter would be on the engine block.


Who knows...

It is a real PITA to remove. The distributor cap is in the way, and I ended up removing it to get at my sending unit. It is screwed into a brass fitting that screws into the block. I don't remember whether it's the 1/4" NPT or 1/8" NPT for our trucks. I know I picked up both of them at the auto parts store, and just used what I needed and returned the other... I told myself I'd remember which one I used for future reference, but I forgot. Funny how that works.
