Overboost question

Well, my cat is clogged. The dealership wants a arm and a leg for one and I was wondering if I were to just delete the cat and put tubing there if I am going to be overboosting constantly. I already deleted the muffler. The TY is basically stock, 160 t-stat and k&n. Would you just delete the cat and run basically a straight exhaust or pay the piper and buy another cat! Thanks in advance.

You'll be overboosting.

Fix it however you choose, new cat, external gate, upgrade turbo with a real wastegate.

You can go to an exhaust shop and have them install a cat.

You can buy a Catco from Summit or Jegs and install it yourself.

You can delete the cat and find a solution for overboost.
