Overboost question

Hello,

I was wondering how can you tell if you have overboost. And also what mods would cause overboost on a 2bar chip.

When you over boost you will have a huge drop in power, generally when you are WOT. Your "Check Engine" light will come on briefly. This means that you have set a code.

Over boosting can be caused by removing the Cat but it is more commonly caused by a crack in the rubber elbows at your boost control solenoid. Any vacuum leak in this system will cause a loss of boost control and put you into an over boost condition.
