Fuel pressure and boost for me and that's the Golden Gate Bridge. My pod is the cheap one.

A wideband is pretty much the same thing as a fuel pressure gauge also I might add....:tup:

I have my wideband in my console, old like me; permanent mount LM-1! lol I like to see my fuel pressure and try to adjust the gauges so that under boost the boost and fuel pressure needles rise together. The LM-1 read out is so big that I can see it without lookin'. I originally had digital Cybersomething gauges in the pillar but had to go back to analogue, the digitals were annoying for values that change a lot like boost/vac and fuel pressure.

Huh???:roll:

Rich = too much fuel = wasting gas
Lean = not enough fuel = possible engine trouble or detonate the motor= paper weight/ lawn ornament. What does a wideband do? Tells us if it's running lean or rich....

I wouldn't trust one of those a/f gauges for the saftey of my engine. Is it hooked up to a wideband or your narrow band O2's?

A fuel pressure gauge doesn't tell you A/F ratio, hence, not the same. It only tells you rail pressure. And rail pressure may or may not be indicative of a rich or lean condition. Wideband is a better gauge in my opinion, and is not "pretty much the same" as a FP gauge

My point is make sure your A/F instrument is using a WIDEBAND 02 sensor and manufactured by a reputable wideband manufacturer. Some gauges use the original narrowband 02. Personal preference-I want to see my fuel pressure close to my line of sight as I have caught irregularities on the FP prior to showing up on wideband. Both FP and W02 are essential to tuning for boost! I use EFILive.com!
