plug gap

Why do some SyTy related sites list the plug gap as .035 when the service manual says .045? Is the manual incorrect or is the .035 gap for modified engines? The Syclone I bought is apparently all stock. I am getting ready to give it a tune up and I am not sure what to gap the plugs at.

Stock boost levels should be gapped at .035"

If you run higher FP and more boost, or an alky setup you start closing the gap down to around .032".

Just gotta try good plugs and different combs until you hit the sweet spot.

NGK UR5 plugs have been working great for me, but at least get the ACDelco CR42TS if you can.
