PLX DM-6 how do you guys like it? Question about function

So how do you guys that have it, like it?

So if I'm understanding what I've read or heard about this system, is that if you have an aftermarket chip, say TurboTweak, hooking this PLX to you ECM with the chip, the ECM can now read AND adjust AFR based off of the wideband? Or is that a Code $59 thing only?

I think that with either none are self adjusting or self tuning....it's all done by yourself with a computer/laptop or moving some buttons on the chip...I could be wrong but only the standalone units will do some "self-tuning". But even then you must go in and turn it on.....:2cents:

Code59 can be setup to do a closed loop via the WB Sensor based on desired AFR ratio table. The tune must be close and there is very little learning involved, so it must re-adjust basically everytime it sees that cell.

I can't speak for turbotweak functions.

I just installed mine a few months ago and I love it. I know when you hook it up to the ecu you can now get wideband info when datalogging which is extremely nice.

I only use it as a light show. Code59 and tunerpro does everything else.

Turbotweak can be set to use the WBO2 for closed loop driving :up:

I run an earlier version of the PLX, no issues. It is a light show, especially at night. I believe Eric's chip only uses the WB, if properly wired, at full throttle. But it works and works well.
