Hey guys, I know everyone in Ontario keeps talking about getting together, and I have a good idea for a venue. A friend of mine puts on a great truck show, vanfest, each year in June, this year it's June 11-13. I plan on taking my Sy there for sure this year. The show is in a campground/park, where you can camp all weekend. Brings out a lot of trucks, last year I think was around the 200 mark, maybe more, and is a great setting for a show. ummmm.... Nice and local.... I think I will have to make this one if others will be there.. .plus I haven't gone camping in 4 years and I am over due!!!:rotf::tup:

That's nice and near. I'd be in, probably only for the day though. But, one never knows. I could be coerced into camping...

sounds like a good one for ontario owners. im down for it, although im out of work right now so its gonna be put on the maybe list of things i can do this summer but i would love to meet other sy/ty owners of the province. of course camping = drinking so i need a tent i can setup up in the truck box or next to the truck. etc.....

I've never camped yet, but I will probably camp this year, all other times I have just gone for the Saturday show, and it's always been fun. Nothing else compares to it in Ontario that I've ever seen, and it's all trucks which is nice.

It's about 20 minutes south of London Ken, if that, good to see that quite a few will make it. Should be a good time.

I just really want to get some good miles on the truck next summer, I made a mistake by buying it less than a month before I had to store it for winter... barely put 200 miles on it and now I have to sit and wait all winter.:rant:

Don't feel bad, I'm in the same boat here too. Bought my truck in August, rebuilt the engine and had it all done for first of October, just in time to put it away. I've maybe got 70 miles driving mine, at most, haha. O well, I'll make up for it next summer:)

We should make an official North East SyTy meet if we can get guys from the US as well, would be nice seeing more Syclones and Typhoons... since you pretty much never see them up here.

Well since there has never been a SyTy presence, I'm sure some people will be surprised. Hell most probably have never seen one.

The one I bought is the first one I've ever seen! And I have loved these cars since I was a little kid! :lol:

Anybody still up for this meet? If you want to camp you can pre-register now, for camping or just for the one day truck show.
