A possible career change has made me think about selling my SY. because it will leave me with very little time to drive it for a couple years.


I believe that I am the third owner, I have had this truck for 5 years and it's always stored in my garage. Only been in the rain 1 time since I owned it.
It has 13,xxx miles on it, is 99% original, the only exceptions are the aftermarket aluminum extra capacity tranny cooler, K&N drop in air filter, ft. prop shaft hoop, and tinted windows. I have the original tranny pan and air filter. This thing is in excellent shape, still smells like new inside, paint is in great shape only one little scratch on tailgate, inside of box has never had anything in it. This truck needs nothing.

I have many pictures and can take pictures of anything at your request. I can email them to you or if someone would like to post them for me that would be even better.

So here are my questions for you guys.

What do you think it's worth? Should I even try to sell it or let it sit till I have time to drive it?
I won't sell it unless I get what I feel is a good price for it, I don't have to sell it just trying to see if it's worth trying to sell it.

Today, 18k -22k.

Next year $$...who knows?

Whether you keep or sell is a personal choice.

I would agree on the $18-22... sadly, in this market, you'd have to be extremely patient to see that much. It's definitely not a seller's market right now. Many nice trucks have sold recently for way too little.

I would say, if you have a way to store it, why not put it in storage until you can enjoy it again... who knows, if you're still in a mood to sell, it might actually fetch what it's worth by that time :tup:

Have to agree here , if I had a sy that was such an awesome example I would def hang on to it for about another 10 years. I fully believe they are going to be a very sought after car in the near future.

Sounds like a beautiful truck. Wish I had the extra $$ to buy it.

As said above, the market isn't the strongest for these trucks. There's a few on ebay with similar miles going for around $18,000 or less.

I'd kill to be able to own a Syclone with that low miles.
