picked up a set of 3, 19x8.5 XIX 05 wheels today. only got three but it was a good deal. will work my way up to the fourth wheel ($325) and some new rubber. probably 245/40-r19. its my project in wheels and tires. haha among other things.

Just found out the 19's i have next to my Ty a few posts up, 5x4.5" bolt pattern. Damn SOB said they came off an '04 BMW 5 series. Oh well, thats what i get for not checking. Now its time for my business degree to go to work and make me money off this set. Thought i finally got a nice set of wheels for the Ty after countless shortcomings.

I pic is gone so I can't see the wheels, but are they BMW wheels?

BMW wheels never came in 5x4.5".

fixed the picture. but they are from XIX. guy i bought it from said they came off a bmw so i didnt think twice about checking. he also said they had the wrong offset for his early bmw so again, i assumed he test fitted without any problems besides offset. during my search for a cheaper replacement wheel, i found that some where 9.5" wide as well. so i checked the width, then diameter, then backspacing to see if i had a set of 8.5". upon doing so, i was looking at the bolt pattern and noticed a set of pilot holes that were just a bit wider. i know that 5x4.75 are combo'd with 5x4.5. then i checked the pattern and my heart sank.


BTW, the pic is just the wheels up next to the truck. not on.

That sucks, they look sweet. Well sell them, and move on, all you can do.
