Right on Brandon! All nice and tight?

not really. I have 2 AN fuel lines that are seaping. i still have to tuck my wiring harness up under the kick panels. and my ZQ8 box keeps getting progressively more sloppy. All minor, stuff, but it runs.

Re: Post a pic of your truck taken today

that Chevette has 65 original miles on it.

65 miles! I learned how to drive on a chevette... A orange colored scooter model! That one in the pic looks like it has a 3rd brake light (I guess that was one of the last years...) Why do I know so much about chevettes...

Brandon took a pic at my shop, Its an 87 chevette with 63 miles on it. Funny thing is everyone picks that thing out sitting in the corner lol. Its about 3rd in line on project list for an ecotec swap.

That sounds like a fun project. Please pm me when you start it so I can follow the build.

Sooner or later I am going to do an old Street Rod style pick up with an Ecotec. Tommy and I have talked about doing a Turbo Ecotec swap on a Sonoma GT. I think it would be pretty cool and fairly easy to do.

I just bought a 2013 cruze 1.4 turbo, That ecotec motor is going to be the likely candidate. Can find complete pullouts $1000-1500, with turbo/ wiring and I/C, all under 10k miles. Ive been doing some research on this for a few years now, and solstice/sky bell housing and Colorado 5 speed bolt up to ecotecs. I've done a lot of LSx stuff and all kinds of other crap so it shouldn't be out of my skill level.

i would like to to a turbo buick powered chevette!

I have an 87 GN also, but being a turbo 6 its Jackstand ballin' right now :(

Re: Post a pic of your truck taken today

Not from today, but rather Sunday heading south from Bowling Green, Ian was snapping some photos and was kind enough to send them to me.

These will be good because I always wanted to have some "in motion" pics of the truck, plus will help motivate me to remind me that it actually does enjoy some road time.

Re: Post a pic of your truck taken today

you were at nats? did I meet you?

I think maybe just once or twice real quick on the first day. I was kind of in over-load the first day and missed the sat night dinner and whatnot.

At least though I didn't pull a Jason Thomas and disappear for an entire 24hr span. :rotf:
