The economy is tough. It's hard to spend money. Which is why I'm posting this "interest" thread, instead of just throwing it up for sale.

Chest Rockwell (Steve) graciously lent me his original copy of the poster below. After shooting it high res and cleaning up the magazine folds, I'm going to offer a reprinted version.

How much would you pay for a 24"x72" (2ft x 6ft) version of this:

Be absolutely honest. Also know that the more people with interest means cheaper printing costs.

For a great quality print, $50+ would be worth it. That is an awesome garage poster worth framing.

I debated whether or not to include it from the get go. I was thinking the full thing made it more authentic. But I can remove it if that's what people want.

i'd be interested in either/or the full thing or one without the red block.. would it be possible to make it a size that a frame is easily found for?

Yeah it's possible. You'll just end up with big white margins on top and bottom.

Good comments and ideas.

I'm willing to work on price too. I'll be fully willing to do "custom" orders. Just need to get my baseline in the right spot to start.

ewww that would blow.. no white borders..

also you should use photoshop's new fill feature to get rid of the surgeon generals warning on the lefthand side

The ratio of the original foldout makes it hard to find any sort of standard frame. I'll have to measure it again for actual dimensions, but it's not "standard.

I left the warning in as this was intended to be a reproduction of the original. Taking that out wouldn't be too hard... it's the info just above it that will take some extra work.

Frame = A chunk of plexiglass, thin fiberboard, and some trim. Make it any size you like.
The foam molding stuff works ok, and can be easily painted black.

I would buy it if you photoshop out the surgeon general warning, it ruins the pic.

I really like how it came out, you've done a great job getting rid of the lines where it folded! I think Smaug is on to something, suggesting to get rid of the block on the right. I think it might also clean it up to get rid of the extra on the left, since that's only there to open the original ad. Not sure about the Surgeon General suggestion, but I think it might be cool to change up the wording there, have some fun with it.

I like the latest version, but think it might look better with some of the text still in there, explaining the heritage of the truck for those that don't know it. Keep up the good work, dude!
