Power window wiring - how do they work?

I'm getting ready to install a power window module for my alarm, and it wants to know what kind of power window system the truck uses, of these three (rough) varients:

A: Both wires are open or grounded. 12v is provided to one motor wire, ground to the other. OR one wire will get 12v the other will remain grounded.

B: 12v is provided to both wires when the ignition is on, and when one wire is grounded the window goes.

C: These are grounded by the motor housing, and have two coils inside the motor - one for up and one for down. It's like two motors in one.

Basically.

Anyone have an idea so I can save half hour testing? Thanks!

Sweet - got it - THANKS.

Okay, looks like a Type "A" where both wires to the motor are resting at ground. When you push the switch, one wire gets +12 sent to it, the other one stays at ground. The easiest to wire up.

Which means I'll probably mess something else up tomorrow! Wish me luck!
