I was wondering if there is anywhere to get directions on this unit. There are all sorts of DIP switches and jumpers in the prompaq box, and i would like to know the features and the functions of this unit.

1. Pull it out carefully, not to diturb any wires.
2. Place it in your right hand
3. Aim for the furthest garbage can away.
4. Toss it with great effort
5. Hope it makes a basket.
6. Repeat as neccessary.
Honestly, the prompaq was cutting edge 15 years ago, but is very problematic and troublesome for the most part.
Several better options exist for multiple programs.

What are the seveal better options?? I have all the chip burning software so the ultimate chip doesn't really seem worth it to me. Is there any other options beside that?

The ultimate is IMO the best packaging for multi chips. Has knock LED built in, display, and can be bought in a round gauge package to install in pod, etc.
A lot of people have and buy the ultimate purely for the switching capability, display, etc. The bins loaded on it are a bonus.
