Quick ? about Vortec Gasket

Hey guys i have alreay put my heads on, so this question is kinda late. I was sitting around my garage tonight after working on my truck and i noticed that on my old heads, one of the coolant passages is blocked off by the gasket. On my vortec gasket, both passages were open. Is it supposed to be this way, or did i screw up??

Nick - Do U have the L-35 Vortecs ('94-95) or the '96+ version ? I am installing the Late ones and alot of mods R necessary to bolt up.

He should have the 96 up set if there are two holes.... also J. waller can help you with the bolt up delima with newer vortecs.... just send him your lower intake and let him mod it for the new heads....
