Can anyone help me figure out what kind of buffing compound that I will need to remove light scratches from my rear-window? They are from the rear-wiper and very faint and you cannot feel them. I was quoted $75.00 from a local shop to remove them and I know it can be fixed for much cheaper.

Thank's

75 is cheap for the time it takes. I have a system here that does this.
machine with special pad spins at 10k rpm. uses a paste like buffing substance made to do this. contact my vendor here and they can find you someone local witht he equipment to do it.

btw the 75 is dirt cheap. i wont even turn my machine on for less than 150. then again i am a republican and my philosophy has allways been:

Hey this is america! charge as much as you can get. :D

at the speeds those 2 tools spin i would plan on have about 2-3days to get the sreatches out.

the tools spin at whatever you want them to  they are only attachments for angle polishers. time is also based on the depth of the scratches.

Either way, the heavy scratch kit removed the huge gash in the side window of the duck in a few hours, and that was a couple mills deep. Unfortunately I didnt spend anymore than those few hours on it, but im about 95% done with it. Just need some time and some warm weather.
