I've looked for a pin to remove the shift knob on my 92 typhoon, but I just can't seem to get it out.... Anybody know how???

No pins or hidden fasteners. Just use a real small straight blade screwdriver and carefuly pry / pull up the button )don't slip and gouge or scratch though). It has a built in "friction spring" type lock that slides into the slot on the top of the shift lever. Under the button there is a circ-clip that holds the knob down on the shaft, you needa small setof outside clip pliers for that. No biggie!

And the knob itself is on there pretty tight. After removing that C clip, pull up hard on it. Just don't punch yourself in the face when it finally lets go..........................

Is there a certain spot that I pry on, like maybe the front or back?

It doesn't matter because the spring that "grips" to hold it on isn't directional. I can remove mine using my fingernails. It you have to pry on it, do it from the side that is towards the front of the truck or the side that towards the back of the truck.

For some reason this is giving me a hilarious Peter Griffen type visual.....
