Re: Right price for This ?

Ok, fogot to say that the crankshaft is an RMP crank and all ignition parts is brand: msd.

But ok, around 12k then, thought it was worth more! Maybe a little bit more here in sweden.

Theres a lot of money in that list. That truck around here would be 15k+ especially seeing its a built short block and 4l80e included.

Re: Right price for This ?

Most of us are not going to be good judges of SyTy pricing in Sweeden.

No I know, the problem is that there is no really pricing in sweden either, on our biggest online car market there is about 1-2 typhoons shown each year.

I think the overall sy/ty prices is like 20% higher here.

Just wanna check with u guys how u value the modifications on this truck :)

look in the for sale section where they have sold recently or in the past with mods and see what they went for.

I wouldn't pay any premium for a modified SyTy unless some had either track and dyno results. Way too many 10 sec in paper truck that run 13's, that 'just need a tune' and the owner has given up.

I agree with the 15K valuation given by member Syclone 0565. Having said that, I would advertise it at $17,900 and test the waters if you are gonna sell. You can always come down on pricing after listing it to gain a sale but if you go up, you'll lose it

No I have no clue how many horsepower its make, not the seller ether, the engine should go for a map / tune run in the bench when i get it :) Its a brand new built that has only been cranked up and some small runs before the big tune day, i will keep in touch :)

Its built for around 650-750 HP and the transmission is good for 1000, but the time will tell, my goal isnt to run on strip or get the maximum of the engine, i just wanna drive a basass truck and take care of it :)

Re: Right price for This ?

CK Performance is well know in the turbo Buick world. He has a very good reputation. As mentioned, there is a lot of money in parts. That and the actual value of the truck depending what it's condition is, should pretty much land you near the suggested figure of $15K for a modified truck if everything is working properly with no more than regular maintenance work required. If it's a project, figure will be considerably lower to reflect the project's current state in the build.
My opinion.
