Can you take a log of it idling? If not, what is the MAP, IAC, and BLM reading at idle, in park, warmed up?

All the tune up parts are in need of replacement. Im sure its a good possibility all or most of this problem will go away. Ill check back when I get everything replaced. Thanks

Had the same problem, ended being the bushings inside the throttle body. Mine, would never idle consistently til I redone mine. The test I used was a smog machine, threw smoke in their to catch all the leaks!

Ill have to check the bushings. Where do you find replacement bushings at?

Did the tune up same problem just wants to go back to 10s AFR. I made a tiny adjustment on the throttle body and it will idle at 13-14 in gear. The next thing is 1/4 throttle driving WB will be 10s and sometimes say rich. I going to get a data log when I can

I got some logs today of his truck. It was idling around 14/14.3 for me.. We did a normal drive and looked good so we did a wot pass. At wot trucks af was pig rich 10.1.. We pulled over, I reset chip to 11.2 and holy crap it woke that truck up. Very nice and smooth and zero knock. I'll post a log in a bit after my laptop charges back up

Jesse thanks for coming out and doing the log and help make the adjustment. I think the rich idle from before was from the cap and rotor being corroded. Thanks again it runs way better now!

Re: Running 10.9 at idle??

heres the runs, sorry it took so long to get on here.. busy day..

this first run is when we first left the house, just a nice simple 55mph drive to check how things were looking.

this run is the first wot pass we made without changing anything.. i noticed it was a bit sluggish and noticed the a/f didnt move once past 10.1 in wot range.

we pulled over, i reset only the a/f target to 11.2 since this is a turbo tweak chip and it really made a difference in pull.. i still have so much to learn, i did not want to start messing with the tune more then the small stuff i know how to do.

Re: Running 10.9 at idle??

I been driving the truck and its been running good. Today I ran to the store and came out and went to start the truck it stalled. I got it started again was running good got it home and it died in the driveway. Started it again noticed the FP gauge was pegged and the truck was blowing nasty smoke out of the tailpipe. Turned it off restarted three times like that and turned it off. The forth time it started and ran normal. Almost seems like the fuel pump was getting a signal it was under load but it really wasn't. I just drove the truck around for 20 minutes and its fine still. Any ideas?

The fuel pump does not not receive any signals to control pressure. Pressure control comes from the fuel pressure regulator, so maybe something going on there. Also, if something was restricting the fuel return line, the pressure would go very high.

The pump didnt sound any louder then normal. I would think to get pressure like that it would be dead headed. I will check the lines to make sure.
