School is out and it seems that everyone with a drivers licence has stolen their dad's car to race something at every light.
Best one of 'em all though, some kid(18 at best) took his dad's dodge srt10(I think that's it... the ram w/ the viper motor). Anyway, he revs up and whatnot, and eggs me on. If I recall, he thought I "souped up my blazer". Anyway, if that truck had traction, it might've been a challenge, but he didn't get going until I hit about 30 and the turbo really kicked in about then. I looked behind to see where he was, and all I saw was his front end sticking out of a cloud of smoke(actually a little scared, I thought he caught fire). At the next light he was awestruck at how fast my little blazer was, I told him to look up "typhoon" online sometime, congradulated him on one of the biggest cloud of tire smoke I've ever seen, and puttered off into the sunset... as he whizzed by me at full throttle. I do have a lot of respect for those trucks though, I think I'd be toast if it had been driven by a capable driver.
I would love to see his dad's face when he found out his kid just burned off the tread of his tires in a single day.
