Shaved handles w/o bodywork system

Called the Magic Touch Toor Handle System:

The magic touch door handles bolt in place of the factory handles, and mounts flush
to the door skin to give the appearance that the hanldes arent there. When you
install the kit, you install a door solenoid (but its activated by touching the handle,
not pushing or pulling, or pressure). A light touch on the shaved handle pops the
door and opens it. It works using the capacitance stored in one`s body.

Integrated into the system is a trigger for the factory keyless entry system.
If the doors are locked, the handles cant be activated. This setup was designed
for owners leasing, or not wanting to perform bodywork/permanent conversion.

Apparently this technology is about to be applied to rear hatches/glass,
and a soon to be released air bag system

in April copy of Sport Truck.

They dont have one for us yet. You can actually do the body work and mold it into the door just like a shaved handle and it will still work.

They also have glass sensors that essentially do the same thing.

They used it on an episode of Overhaulin'. I think it was the episode with the 300C. Cool system... I might put it on the Ty if they make a first-gen S-series version.
