Yup, another one
. I have been lurking for about 2 months now and reading the stickies. I bought Sy #1096 from Ashman. He has done alot with the appearance by adding the C6 brakes and C5 Z06 wheels. The tune is SPOT on as well, Ash is pretty damn good.
It has a Waller built motor, currently it is running 10psi of boost and runs very well from idle to redline. I don't know about the rest of the drivetrain. I am wondering how much boost I can throw at it and it still be a reliable DD.
There are a few loose ends to work on to keep me busy for a few weekends. I have already tackled a few:
Fixed the non working wipers by making a new ground cable to replace the built-in wiper motor strap.
Raised the truck back up 1" all the way around to smooth out the ride a bit.
Got the hood release and raise spring to work somewhat.
Quieted a sqeaky headliner and both seats.
Rebent the tailgate release latch rods and lubed the catches so the gate opens and closes freely.
