Well heres the problem. i can drive the truck for a bit, gas up, pay the bill get back in it and the temp gauge goes right to over heat. The truck was running normal nothing showing overheating or making any weird noises. So after this happend one time i decided to hit the top of the dash cluster and problem solved the temp needle went back to normal. I tried the same thing a few days ago but i gues after a couple of hard hits i dislogged something else in the cluster cause the speedo jumped and stopped working right after.
The speedo needle is still in place in the cluster, how easy is it to get the cluster out and fix the needle?
Also im assuming the temp gauge sticking is wire related and there is an after market alarm system in the truck that no longer works. I have other interior work to do. You guys got any suggestion as to what to look for?
