I had asked my wife if the noise was gone and she said she thought so...

I went for a ride in it with her yesterday evening and it usto rattle on the cracks just down the road from our house and over large bumps. Nothing... all sounds tight... I think I need to adjust where the window latches because it's too tight for the power window pop'r to pop it open. The key works fine.
Guess our work's never done huh..

Is replacing the rear weather seal an easy fix? It appears to be. I just don't want to be prying parts apart like you do for the front doors. Was there any gluing involed? Sorry to sound like such a newbee, but averyone at one time was a newbee, I just started out late in life when it came to my Ty - maybe I'm having a mid-life crisis or something - nah- I own a Typhoon.

yes, simply pull on the weathstripping/seal and pull it off of the body

These are the GM Part numbers for the Weather strips:

PN: 15675120 (tail gate strip)
PN: 15986979 (Rear body strip)

The glass some times pops with the button.. it's tight now so it takes a few pushes...
Hope that helps,
Scott~

Thank you all for the input. If this eliminates my squeak, I will be one happy camper and be happy to by mass quantities of beer to whomsoever's idea helps me with this. I get so much grief from my wife since I spend so much money on this vehicle. She does not get it. When it squeaks, I get the "is this what you paid all the money for?" If this allows the back window to actually pop open like it used to - heck that is just a bigger bonus that I expected. I used to have to bang on it a bit to get the window to pop while pressing the remote. I would do it when no one was around - did not want to disparage my Ty in front of total strangers (key hole stuck, I was able to fix that).

Here are the part #'s for the "Rear Window Squeak Fix" kit someone pm'd me some time ago. Don't know if the prices are still good but I'm sure the part numbers haven't changed.

My old 83 Blazer and my Ty both sound like Iike I'm hiding a bag of live chipmunks in the back.

Striker GM#15547909 ~$3.02
Hinge GM#15991523 ~$13.94
Hinge GM#15991524 ~$13.94
2-Bolts GM#14046292 ~$4.04
2-Gaskets GM#15653564 ~$1.94
Washers GM#15693936 ~$0.21 each

Thanks. I'm going to try to replace the weather striping and go from there.
