Squeaking motor

I am getting this squeaking sound from a new motor I just dropped in.
Only had it running for a few minutes, the squeeking sound just like a fan belt sqeaking but this is coming from in the engine.
The sqeeking would stop for a few seconds that come back on, as the engine get warmer it get louder.

Maybe I screw something up during the rebuild?

What does breaking in the cam mean?
What would happen if the rockers are too tight?

Here is what on the new build.
4 bolt main
je/eagle
prm vortec
415 cam

I would hate to have to pull this engine out, it only took 4 months to put in.
Thanks

w/o being there it is hard. Typically though the squek isn't good and is signs of bearings spinning.

pull the valve covers and take a look at the rockers while it is running. Make sure oil is pumping up through the pushrods.. Oftentimes it will squeek like a noisy belt, especially on a new motor if you didnt use any assembly lube on the rocker areas..

Thanks, I will check it with the valve cover off.
I didn't use assemble lube on the rockers, just pure oil on them.

Another thought related to what Mike said make sure the pushrods are not rubbing on side of the heads.

Thanks, will check that too.
Didn't want to take the valve cover off while its running, its the frist time the engine bay been so clean in years.

If the engine is warmed up, you can used 6-8" cardboard. I use this one below and the only one that leaked oil (when I first started the truck back up) is #2 cylinder.

Re: Squeaking motor

The problem was no oil coming out of the pushrods, 5 -10 min or so of idling it start coming slowly then after about 20 min it start 'coming harder'.
Never been so happy seeing oil splashing all over the engine bay before, no more squeaking.
Hopefully this is it, just have to readjust the rockers, put on the hood and take it off the jackstands.

Thanks everyone for the help.
