starter?

New to the GAME
sometimes when you turn the key nothing would happen,so i replaced the starter and now sometimes when i turn the key with the new starter it starts right up and sometimes it only clicks.i thought by replacing the starter it would fix the problem,any help would be greatly appreciated.THANKS

I've been having the same problem lately. When I turn the key, I'll get a very light "clunk" sound. After a few times of that, it starts right up. This is only on cold starts though. When it's warmed up, I've never had this problem. Still the purple wire?

OP, when does yours not turn over? Cold or hot?
