Hi I m new i just posted in the newbie section

http://www.syty.net/forums//showthread.php?t=43901

Im swaping a built motor into my other stock truck, I was woundering if the stock ignition system will be adequate. In other turbo applicatons i have used the MSD 6AL w\BTM
Is there a new on this truck?

Also what kind of plugs are you guys running?

From what i have read on other peoples posts the fuel pressure should be about 35psi at idle with the vacuum on and 45 with it off, is that correct

Thanks for the help

Plugs are a religion..... you'll get lots of different opinions.

NGK, AC, Autolite are all good.

Regarding the ignition, the stock dissy system with an MSD will get you a long way.
The downer to the dissy system under boost is that it's fairly maintenance intensive; you need to check/replace plugs/wires quite often.

Depends a lot on your budget, and your goals. Tough to beat coil-on-plug...
