Are you footing the bill in Carson City??? If so, I'm in.

Thanks for the offer Rich but Josh is just teasing me. MLBR is in Carson City and I have been there a few times or so...

I remember that guy from way back in the day. He lived in Florida and went to school up in the northeast IIRC. He was one of the first I remember when a stokes built motor. His last post on the list a few years ago was about getting the truck updated and tuned better I think.

Initials were MM or something? Think his first name was Mark?

All of this was before the message board was even a thought in someone's mind...

I remember Murph from the "old days" too... he was a bit disappointed in
the timeslip as well, as I recall.

I do remember, of the Stokes builds that I did see, they were massively
detuned when delivered to the customer. Assume it was a combination
of longevity and driver safety concerns, not sure though.

Jeff M. in the cities has a similar build, and his wasn't really tuned to the
maximum, either.

This was all before the advent of wide-band 02... most (if not all) of these builds used a old-generation DFI.

Like Mike said, there's probably a *lot* more potential in that truck.

Later,

He's was asking $20k but would let it go for $18k but as far as details on what it has he never bothered to answer any of my questions.
