Any suggestions for help in getting this truck sold?

Truck is located in Los Angeles area.

MUST SEE THIS TRUCK!! It is soooooo fast and really fun to drive.

This truck is #1800. Brand new transmission (rebuilt). All orginal, not modified. Owned/Maintained by Auto Repair shop owner. Complete set of Service Records (Synthetic Oil used since new). Professionally installed Stereo System--Sony AM/FM Cassette Player with 10 Disc CD Changer, ADS 600 Watt Amplifier with ADS Speakers & Crossovers. Professionally installed K40 Radar Detector.

Please use discrestion and have respect for people on this forum and keep opinions on pricing to yourself.

If someone is selling an item/truck that you think is priced to high/low, please do not post about it and give your opinion. This has been a problem lately and has caused conflict between sellers and interested buyers.


Posting to a sale thread would include; to find out more information for purchase details, standard information, or helping a sale. If you are not intending to make a purchase, then dont post!

The following posts will not be allowed:

- Conflicting/Interfering with a sale - Posting the same product for a lower price elsewhere in the same post as the original for example

- Giving your opinion on the item/truck being sold is priced high/low, unless asked to do so by the seller.
- Publicly questioning sellers with no intent to help the sale, but just to get your .02 in on what you think overall, unless asked to do so by the seller.

If the seller is asking for suggestions on how to better sell his Sy/Ty, and the price being a good point, how is that not answering the original posters question?

Love the plate. It's a shame Ca did not keep that plate design for years. My 85 landcruiser has the same design. Truck looks good. Do some more advertising and you will get a buyer.

Exactly. If he's asking for suggestions then price should be the number one thing. Especially in this case:tup:

I was always under the impression, wash it,clean it,detail it etc...stuff like that, or it needs paint so the price should be lower, that kind of thing. Wouldn't want to see the guy loose his shirt on the truck, but since it's kinda a buyers market...lower the price I guess is the answer.

Better photos of the exterior would really help. When I am looking at vehicles for sale on the internet I want to see pictures of both sides of the vehicle, front, back and any damage. Taking the pictures in the garage or on an overcast day can really help the details on the vehicle stand out since you won't have the bright sun on some panels and shadows on others.

Takes time so be patient. Bunch a lowballers out there so don't get discouraged. Keep'em dreaming they can get a nice Sy for less than your price. The problem isn't with your trucks price IMO, the problem is everyone that wants it has NO MONEY cause they're a bunch of broke asses. Let them know a toyota 4cyl is more practical for their budget.

I'm sorry, V6 AWD TURBO truck featured in multiple magazines and smoked a ferrari? Where can you get one of those again? Nowhere!

Bring it to a couple of car shows. For most people it's been 17+ years since they've seen a SyTy, if ever. Educate the masses.

What makes your truck so fast? What mods do you have done to the truck? Is it all stock? Did you do any of the usual upgrades, ie. Fuel pump, Ic line re route, etc. How about some pics of the engine bay?

Looks good and clean. I would post pics of the engine and undercarriage. I would trade you a GTP GrandPrix for it but the wife might shoot me.

It is all original, no modifications. I will take some pictures today of the engine, undercarriage and other sides. It is in California, so no rust. Thanks for the comments and suggestions
