I speak Spanish, not fluent but enough to tell the vatos what to do in my field. I'm with some of the others, speakitaenglish or go home. It's not racism either. I'll make it a new word and call it countryism. How bouts dat?

there are no forum rules, nor will there be, stating that someone most post in english. This is syty.net, not syty.us....so there are no countryism rules. If you can't understand spanish and don't want to use an online translator to figure out what's being said, find another thread to read and don't bother posting in this one.

i didn't say to not voice your opinion. You asked a question and i answered it for you.

But, in this thread about a syclone racing a 350z is not the place to voice your opinion about your preferred reading/posting language. Is the biggest population around here of english speaking contingency? yes. Is that all we should acknowledge? no way. Should we discredit Robert in sweden just becuase his native/preferred language isn't english? There are plenty of non-english-fluent members here that try to read and post in English. That doesn't mean that everyone is going to be able to. Of course they would get more of a response if they posted in english since the majority here does....but again, that doesn't really matter - it's up to them.

If some Typhoon from Japan showed up running 7s with lots of pictures and 0 english ability came to share his build info and details...would you want them to speak english or leave too? I know i'd want to see what they had. If this video was something amazing / new...i bet the response would have been more like "wow thats great, any chance you can translate that into english for us?" instead of "speak english or leave."

Actually, I have tons of respect for guys like Robert who make a damn good attempt to type our language out and they do a good job. Red Typhoon, people like that. Even though you can tell its not their primary language they make they effort. I think that's what our country needs. Like previously assumed, I don't like pressing 2 for Spanish. I'll leave it at that.
