Tempted by Syclone

There are two Syclones for sale. One has 101,000 and owner is asking $5,000. The other is 120,000 and owner is asking $7,000 but he is original owner. Both trucks are California trucks and they have stayed in the same areas in which they where purchased. The 120,000 mile truck has a better appearing exterior than the 101,000. The 120,000 mile truck still has the original trans with no issues.

Which one would be the better truck?

Not a hypothetical question.

i would go with the one that you find is best, if you need to fix all kind of issues, 2k will be down the drain soon.
and with a 120k mile truck with a unrebuild transmission, you know it wasn't driven by a monkey

Both are on craigslist one is in the sacramento area for $5000 he lowered it from $5500. It has gross polluter on the carfax. The truck has always been in the same area. It is syclone #1784 email is ggallin@comcast.net.

The $7000 syclone is in the San DIego area specifically in the town of Carlsbad. Original owner with 120,000 miles and original tranny. Needs CV boots. Has aftermarket hood and original window sticker. Truck #2028 email chuckody@adelphia.net.

Clovis is right next to Fresno basically the central valley.

Offer him $2000 and a tank of gas. What does a new motor for a Sy cost just machine work (some internals ie cam, pistons, valves, gaskets) and you install yourself save mucho dinero. Last 350 (Olds) bottom end I built was $1000 in machine work and parts. I assembled the whole thing and installed.

my syclone looks allot better and im asking 5500.......mine just needs the ball joints replaced, along with some minor cosmetic things....(steering wheel, shifter boot, decals)
113k miles....

I was just in stockton. Keep looking. One will pop up. There is a bly/blk TY in san jose for sale. The guy wanted 12k but I drove by his house it it was still there. I told him its only worth 8-10k. I will be in madera this weekend if you need help looking at a sy or ty.

thats a little too much for me. i'm in the market for something way less than that

been exchanging email with the owner of the sac. syclone. here's what i know so far about it:
-motor blowby=rebuild
-has KB Stg.1 kit
-KB cold air intake
-rust on the roof-pretty bad
-paint and cladding are extremely faded
-3pillar pod w/boost, A/F gauges
-3in downpipe back exhaust w/high flow cat and w/o muffler
-body is straight
