That would be me.UR50SLO said:Thank you to the guy wiht the Green Typhoon who followed my wife and I back to the motel from the track... You've got guts to be in back of a Typhoon that could launch a crankshaft at any moment!!! Appreciate the help!
The L35's will be at his house this weekend.
UR50SLO, good luck on the progress! you took it like a man!
That would be me. We didn't get too close going down the highway. WOW that thing was really loud by the time we made it back to the hotel.
It's cool to see a wife into racing. Make that thing fast for her.
Hope to see you guys again soon at a more local event.

Yes Anders the US is big,but the thing about this site is that it brings us all together.Nova67ss said:Im impressed by your "stand by your side to help" attitude
US is a large country and we did learn that "its just around the block" is a big distance![]()
We also have this "help fellow man/woman" here in Sweden but this country is so small.. Jeff will learn that "round the block" here is a 10 minute walk hahaha...
Jimmy said:I know for a fact that I have friends from coast to coast, north south east and west here. Some I've met face to face, some only on IM and the board.
The stupid retards on here that constantly throw money at their POS trucks, developing new parts, programing the ECMs to do crazy unthinkable shit, and find ways to fix all of the crap that GM dumped on us then said "**** off." is badass.
Why do we do it?
We just do.
Maybe it's on the brink of insanity, and maybe other ppl don't undestand, but IMO when you boost launch 600 awd ft lbs of torque, everything else just seems Renz.
I mean gay.
JS Manufacturing said:In fear of slightly highjacking this thread, and in not these exact words this is the main Reason Robert wanted to bring his truck over here to race.
It wasn't to set some new record run (yes it would have been nice, but wasn't a big priority), it is about the friendship gained by owners of these trucks.
We are all crazy and stupid for owning and playing with them. Outside fellow owners very few people understand and can help. That is the great thing.
I am with Jimmy I have friends all over the world due to these trucks. I have met more friends here, then anywhere else.
JKsSyclone said:BTW...Jeff. Did the Louisville flooding affect you at all?
JKsSyclone said:I agree 1000%.
I have a friend thats into DSM's that came with me to the Nats several years ago. He couldnt believe how everybody racing where helping each other...even people in the same class. He still talks about it.

Well.... Got my shipment from Comp Cams today.. .Valvetrain is all here.
Pistons will be here in the morning... so I can have all that up at the machiene shop Thursday.
Short story on what's been going on. Block I got from Chicago was ok but needed alot of work too. Pistons that were full floated.... ruined the pin lands and have to be used on a non floated rod.
One rod out of that set was wiggled.. not a true bend but looked like it was wiggling.. funny.
Crank was ok to turn.
The crank out of her truck was totaly trashed... could not be turned at .40
I hope to have the block back together next week. Going to get the 65lb/hr injectors and ecm...
Debating weather to put it back together with stock turbo/injectors and see what heads and cam do or go with the turbo and injectors/tune... Be nice to see what a little head work and cam would do. The tranny can't handle much more power and it'd be nice to take it a step at a time... I'm so confused... Lol....
Thanks for asking guys... realy appreciate the support!
