Its all casual...Beer and Golf cart racing is what i forsee As far as I know there are no tiger woods in the group so casual but if you figure it gets dark at 830, if you wanted to play 18 id say you would need to tee off around 4ish....There is a reasonable public course within 15min of the double tree...I think that late in the day it is $24 with cart and a six pack there is $14...not that I frequent the course, or the beer....

I would think about going, if it were earlier. I don't know if I would want to be on the golf course when all the trucks are pulling into the parking lot at the double tree, and I wouldn't want to miss any of the parking lot BS'ing. I know that most of the fun will begin around sundown, maybe a little before.

my first job was working at a driving range. I'd hit at least 300 balls EVERY day working on and grooving my swing. The first time i ever played i shot a 96. 6 months later i was in the 80s. Took another year to hit my first 70s. This isn't from the black tees...just the whites or blue. I would typically shoot from 74 to 82 on any course you'd put me on back then. I'm sure i could be a low 70s golfer now becuase i can hit a helluva lot further now.
but blah blah blah...i can play. I just absorb my time doing other shit anymore.
Maybe we should have a SyTy long drive competition!? We'll go to a driving range and place bets on who will hit the furthest. I've got $50 saying I win. :tup: :lol:

If Dad and I get out there in time (and have room for our clubs) I'm sure we could be talked into it. Let me run it by him and I'll get back to ya.
Don't expect low scores from me, I'm in the early stages of revamping my swing. I don't have the time to go out and hit 600 balls a day like Tiger did when he changed.
