Total newb brake question

Just making sure before I start my shopping list, that the sy/ty's are basically 4x4 Blazers.

I am looking at this rotor setup but it doesnt mention sy's as one of the specific vehicles it fits.

I'd rather go with a larger corvette brake setup though if anyone has a complete 4 wheel kit for sale.....

It's a regular 1991 GMC Sonoma 4x4 as far as the brakes are concerned.

Stock SyTy brakes are stock 4x4 S10/S15 Brakes fitted with ABS. The ABS is usually by broken by now unless by some chance you found one of the few owners who flush their brake fluid regular every couple year since new. The stock brakes rotor and calipers also are under sized and suck.

For the money LS1 or Corvette front brakes kits are the best bang for $. For the $600 or so it cost, its not work putting money into the stock brakes.

Thats what I was thinking. Anyone got a complete Vette brake kit for sale?

try kore designs or search for my C5 saga.

There's a good place that does em quite cheap, half the price of the dealer.

Quickstop's thread brings up a good point about the installation of the brake kits: The use of a torque wrench and threadlocker are an absolute must for safety and reliability. :2cents:
