so basicly the trans for my 92 ty can only be replaced by a trans from a 92 ty? all the 700r4 transmissions and i can only use syty transmissions?

if you still have a SyTy valvebody, Id say get any 4x4 700R4, have it built (new performance everything), and just make sure they use the SyTy valvebody with a kit.

I have a built SyTy trans for sale if you wanna buy it :)

what happens if theres not a syty valve body in the transmission? how much for your trans?
as far as the valve body, im not 100% sure. perhaps one of the tranny gurus can chime in, but from the factory, the SyTy valve body is supposedly different from any other valvebody GM used. I know there are a few people on here who will only use SyTy cores for trannies for this reason.

my trans is $1900 firm

you can use any 4x4 700 trans aas long as you use the syty valve body. or you can upgrade any non syty valve body with parts from various mfg's. but for the best end product you need to reuse the stock trans with as many upgrades as you can afford.

all the syclone typhoon trannies are"basically" the same. and they will bolt up to any of our trucks.

if budget is a conceron I have a line on a good slighty used stock typhoon trans. pm me for more info.

any fullsize 4x4 700 will also work. 1500 series and the very rare 4x4 vans...
