Transfer case/viscous coupler

According to the Sy/Ty Service manuals my coupler is shot asm it's locked up all the time like a 4x4 bucking the front end on dry pavement. Does anyone sell these separately? How involved are they to change etc? Does anyone do that kind of work here? Any info is appreciated as this is my DD and only vehicle.

i have a ytansfer case you can buy and rebuild if you are interested, it would be easy to have one to swap out, instead of having your truck down while it is being rebuilt.

i have a transfer case that i took apart and didnt put back together. has a good vis. coupler

Do you happen to have the output shaft?

It isnt super hard i would say a 7 on a scale of 10 but not easy spliting the case and maken sure all is correct when going backtogether i have done one on a 1/2 ton denali with a lift and extra pair of hand to remove it in 4.5 hours

or u could just go to a pick and pull and buy a transfer case cheap and change it all out
