turbo stuff

i know what a turbo does, but i'm not sure what the difference in pounds does. i know the more pounds you get the better, but what is the average for a typhoon? and what aftermarket stuff would you have to add and how much would it cost to add that stuff? also, one of my friends used to have a syclone that he used for his DD and said it was perfectly fine. he never had a problem with it. i was thinking, if i get a phoon for my DD, and used it like a daily driver not pushing it hard or antyhing...just driving lightly, and just raced the occasional 350z or whatever, that would be alright and last me a long time right? nothing should go wrong if i check everything every weekend or more and drive it really lightly right? i hope you get what i'm saying becuase i'm kindof throwing a lot of stuff out there. i really want a typhoon and i'm holding myself back until i get money and a better knowledge of it. i want one really bad!!!

money and knowledge are important for these trucks.

browse around a bit the forum and the internet and all of your other questions can be answered. If you search online and still can't figure it out, ask a more direct question.

Re: turbo stuff

I'd say left completely stock they are just as reliable as the next 15 year old car/truck... but as soon as you start modifying them shit happens.. and yeah like any factory high hp vehicle.. if you beat it to death she's going to take you for everything you have sooner or later

Oh yeah and the factory turbo flows something like 550cfm

Re: turbo stuff

I have one as a DD and love it. However, I only drive it 5 miles a day M-F with most of the milage being on weekends.

Your question is really open ended.
