Two questions...

ticlone

Esss in the house!
1) What is the maximum boost that you can run with a stock turbo, Ultimate, AFPR, 255 ltr/hr fuel pump, ATR aux cooler, ATR 3" exhaust and no cat/straight pipe. Also 5gal 101oct/15gal93oct fuel mix.

2) With the above mentioned setup, what preps should be done next before going to PTE setup. Alky-injection? 9/11 convertor? 50lbs injectors? What order?

Thanks for the help!

I'd say regardless of mods, anything over 17 PSI and your are spinning your wheels so to speak. Stock turbo is inefficient above that level and the extra heat you will create at 18-22 PSI would be couter productive. My .02 cents. HTH

With regard to the PTE setup, it depends on which turbo you choose.
If you go with the SyTy44, then you should be able to run the stock torque converter, but if you choose the 51 or 52 you will definately need the 9/11. In my honest opinion, when you install or are getting ready to install the kit, I would do the injectors and chip at the same time. No sense running the truck lean with a brand new turbo. After the injectors, depending on turbo selection, I would go with a converter and a scan tool for tuning purposes. Once you have these done, and the truck is in a good state of tune for pump gas, then I would go with the Alky setup for turning up the wick on the street. You gotta know what's going on with your tune up before you start cranking the boost, unless you plan on running pure C-16 all the time.
Anywho, hope some of this helps a little.

Well I agree with the above that the turbo is out of its efficiency range at those high boost levels, but with that high octane gas I think running 18 psi on the stock turbo is ok. I wouldnt do it all the time, maybe just at the track. I did it with my truck and it felt like a new animal all together!!
just my .02$....
