Serious about performance
Lewis, I was wondering how things turned out? That's a tremendous amount of changes to add to your truck. I'm interested in hearing how your (acceleration) performance worked out, surely it has changed a bit :) Also I did not see a torque converter mentioned in your list, are you running a 900 CFM turbo on the stock TC? If so, how is the driveability and response? I beleive we all can benefit from hearing others experiences. Thanks.

wow!

no wonder you were running fast on 12psi.
i thought your truck was a lot more stock than that.
your truck has a lot more in it too. i think your times are gonna keep coming down. looks like you have been VERY busy. congratulations.

Congrats on the investment and hard work. Should scream when you get the tuning complete. Looks like E-Rue may have competition for the fastest Sy in the state. How is the driveability and lag with the stock converter?

Josh and Buck,
I'm running a stock converter and tranny. I hope to save enough $$ to go with a Hartman build in the future. There is some changes that will come when I get all the tunning done but, right now I can tell the low end response didn't suffer as much as I thought it would. The biggest change is the upper end. It pulls a lot stronger above 60 and when I want to pass it has more kick at a roll from 60 on.

Falco,
I am running the stock replacement block I bought in 1998 from GM. I ran a 8.41@81mph in the 1/8 at Mooresville but I was getting a lot of knock.

Erick,
When I got home the truck died and will not start. I think the fuel pump has died. I am going to pull the tank, when I get some good weather, to work on it. That may have been what contributed to the knock. Starved for fuel.
