You looking at a ballpark 5k project truck, or a 30k out the door ready to run?
There are several v8 trucks now, some are officially for sale, others for the right price could be had, so knowing a budget helps along with any specs you want. Even my V8 truck would be sold for the right price.

You are going to buy a nightmare in that price range FYI. Expect to spend $15-25K, even with an SBC to get something that isn't a thrown together grenade.
So you say "yeah but I'll work on it myself."
Sure that's what everyone says, they buy something like this and it changes hands a couple times until someone puts $10K & 200 hours into it to finish it.

You may be right about some people, but not David. He's extremely knowledgeable, very passionate about these trucks, and is incredibly motivated. Your experience may be with people who have high expectations and no follow-through, but don't assume everyone is like that when you don't know them personally. M'kay?

I would say that you have found your project then, if you want to do alot of things yourself. If not, add that $6K together about 4 or 5 more times!
