Vancouver/Comox?

Aye,
I'll be in comox from sept 6-16, I plan on staying in Vancouver over the weekend if anyone wants to meet up or just grab some drinks. If im to far out just give me some directions and i'll drive somewhere...rental cars rock (plus i dont pay for gas). Also where is a good place to stay in Vancouver, i heard something about a gas district?

That would be Gas Town. Pretty cool area to check out, lots of clubs and good restaurents. Not sure if it's great place to stay though. There's lots of really nice hotels in Van, the Pan Pacific is one of the nicest but also pricey.

I dont spend alot of time in Van, not really into the big city life. But I'll talk to a couple friends of mine that do spend a fair bit of time there. They'll know of a couple hotels that are good to stay at.

If it was another weekend, I'd definatly hook up with you, but I'll be in Edmonton for the Canadian SyTy Nats from the 9th to 11th. I think Gdog is the only other local SyTy'er that gets on the boards here.

Anyway have a great time in BC, I'll try to post up some recommended places to stay by the end of the weekend. Let me know if you have any other q's, I'll try to answer as best I can.
