Although im not 100% sure who did this I have some suspicions (may even be a board member)...
2 weeks ago i go outside and am about to leave, im with a freind and were talking about my collection of Tys, i say "im lucky, if anything goes wrong, i usually have the parts to fix the prob" i take a few more steps and am at my drivers door, key in hand (my fob doesnt work) I attempt to put my key in the lock.. it wont go, a little confused, i go to the passenger side and try the lock, no good either. Now apparently someone thinks its funny to put crazy glue in my doors locks, its not that funny. 180 bucks later and a day of inconveinance and that problem was fixed. Doors apart from 2 trucks, locks swapped, new pins for new keys etc..
NOW, now I go for a drive. Not only were my locks glued, BUT, someone also put sugar in my gass tank. The truck started to shake after a mile or so, i turned ot off, towed it to my friends shop and proceeded to have the fuel system flushed. We took a sample from the bottom of the tank, light it on fire and the end result was a sticky mess in the tray we had light.. suggests, sugar :(
So to everyone who reads this, sugar does not ruin your engine unless you drive on it all over the place, it didnt ruin my truck, i was boostin all over like normal all weekend but the fact still remains, this SUCKED and was a major pain in the ass plus a good $400+ out the window. YYAAAYY!

<EDIT> in the oil is a killer.heats up,when it cools oils becomes rock hard

That sucks Adam.Maybe it's just me,but I don't think a board member would mess with someone's truck,aside from disconnecting the fuel pump relay.

Sugar? Someone must really not like you,and IMO it was either a girl,a kid,or a retard to do something like that.

Thats what I was saying, if its someone from here they are def not appreciative of the trucks if they could do something like this.. Its a low suspicion on the board member.

Regardless,I'd get locking gas caps,and a dog.Those ****ers are the ultimate burglar alarm.

. This is exactly why I have locking gas caps on all my trucks. Don't do any good for glue in the locks though... I'd ask you neighbors if they saw anyone suspicious around your place.

Hell, last Thursday I was waiting outside for one of our customers' to get home from work with a mold that we needed to modify. I was there for less than 20 minutes before a cop showed up because one of his neighbors saw me sitting out front (he lives on a dead end street). That's the kind of neighbors everyone needs.

sucks to hear man! i also doubt it was a board member. Unless i think too highly of the people here, but i would think that someone here would come up with a more creative vandalism than gas in the tank and glue in the locks. I mean if i was gonna do something, i'd break the rarest most expensive shit... the cladding! but maybe thats just me. Looks like its time to set up a sleeping bag and a pillow in the back of the ty and catch them in the act.

i read this quote a few days ago...
"why is it that we keep cars worth tens of thousands of dollars out in the driveway, and all of our useless shit in the garage?" hahaha this quote pisses me off cause my typhoon sits in the driveway now to make room in the garage for 3 dirt bikes. :roll:

Def get those locking caps for all of the Tys.

And you can get webcams now that are wireless and connect to your wirelss router.
You can watch them from anywhere and set them to record on motion.
For less than $500 you can setup a decent home monitoring system that will even hold up in court if you catch the mofo.

Of course after we show them the brass paperweights in the shape of a knuckle.

Locking gas cap was the first mod I bought for both of my trucks.
To bad there are so many A-holes and so little time to take care of them.

Im sure it is easy to find out somewhere but I did remove it just in case someone was getting any ideas....

make sure you got top end video editing software or a good blind spot on the cam before you introduce them to any paper weights. i'm kinda partial o the 12guage taser shells

Sorry to hear this man. I remember you saying you had your truck(s) stolen before and you slept in them and $hit do it wouldn't happen again. This sort of thing is exactly why my nice stuff is either locked up in the garage or I'm out driving it. Don't usually let my toys out of my sight because there are many crudballs in this world who want to mess with it or steal them. Hope your RPM motor is OK.
